Dancong means "single bush": on Fenghuang Mountain each tree is picked and finished on its own, so the tea keeps one tree's character rather than a blend's. Ours comes from thirty-year-old trees at 800 meters — high enough for the clean, bright aromatics the mountain is known for, and forgiving enough to brew that it belongs in a daily cup as much as a gongfu session.
